She battled against Glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer, for 5 and a half years. Her determination and strong spirit shattered every time frame she was given.

Her love of children was demonstrated through her work as a Guardian ad Litem in Minneapolis, MN and in her many years of teaching children to swim. She was also instrumental in creating the Quad Cities chapter of SHARE, an infant loss support group. Family was very important in Tricia’s life. She loved her grandchildren fiercely and cherished her role as Nana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ken and Marge Cullen; her sisters, Carol Cullen and Elizabeth Cullen; and her infant son, Benjamin.

Tricia is survived by her loving husband, Terry Hinton; her daughters, Molly (Aaron) Kleinwolterink, Lisa (Jeff) White, Katy Horst; her step-daughters, Amy (Doug) Mosow, Jennifer (Ron) Shimek, and Beth (Andy) Shultz; her sisters, Sue Cullen, Taffy (Holger) Cullen, Megan Cullen, and Moya (Sam) Jackson; and thirteen grandchildren.
