Larry Armintrout

Larry Eugene Armintrout, 71, Kansas City, Kansas passed away Friday November 30th, 2018.  Larry was born January 6, 1947 to Everett Eugene Armintrout and Mabel Esther Altum in Archie, Missouri.   Larry lived with his aunt and uncle, Irma and Lloyd Ladd and their two children, William Harold Ladd and Martha Ladd (McNerney) while growing up.  He married Linda Jeffries on October 22nd, 1965 at the Independence Boulevard Christian Church in Independence, Missouri.   Larry loved to go hunting, enjoyed fishing, went on many camping trips with his family over the years, and had a great eye for finding stuff that people were getting rid of and bringing it home.   You just never know what he might need it for later.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and all their activities they were involved in.  Larry worked for the Johnson County Water District and retired as a Foremen in November of 2007 after 39 years of service.  Larry is survived by his wife, Linda of the home, daughter, Sherry Youngblood and her husband Jeff; sons:  Troy Armintrout and his wife, Cheryl and Jeff Armintrout and his wife Angela; Six Granddaughters:  Ashley Price and her fiancée Richard Blevins and his two children, Ayden and Landon Blevins, Andrea Price,  Nichole Armintrout and her fiancée A.J. Pippin, Kayla Armintrout, Lindsay Armintrout, Margaret Armintrout; One great-granddaughter, Ashdan Lee and one great-grandson, Mason McClure.  And we can’t forget his two faithful dogs, Tray and Rebel.   Larry was a loving man who loved his family and his many friends.  He brought laughter into our lives and put a smile on our faces.  He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
