Wendy Knapp

Wendy Le Ann Knapp, 41, Kansas City, KS, went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 25, 2018. She was a graduate of Louisburg High School in 1995. For many years, Wendy attended Overland Park Assembly of God and she enjoyed the lasting friendships that grew during that season. Beginning in 2018, Wendy became a member of LifeMission Church in Olathe. Wendy served in a couple areas within the church but felt so much joy when she was able to serve the Wednesday night Youth Ministry, Vertical. Wendy's talents were many. She had a love for pictures and from there grew her passion in scrapbooking. Wendy was an accomplished cake baker, cake decorator, and cook. Wendy is a beloved daughter.

She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Knapp; brother, Michael Knapp; grandparents, John H. Knapp Sr. and Dorothy Knapp, as well as her grandmother Cleta Timm.

Wendy is survived by her mother and stepfather, Sandra and Kevin Wing; niece's, Kinsley Knapp, Emma Jones, and Grace Jones; aunts, uncles, many cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held for family and close friends only from 6-8 PM, on Tuesday, October 30, at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS. Her Celebration of Life will be held at 10 AM, on Wednesday, October 31, at Overland Park Assembly of God, 7700 W. 75th St., Overland Park, KS 66204. Private burial will be held for the family at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
