Alice Myria Haley, daughter of Henry and Stella Molt, was born on April 5th, 1929 in Hanover, Kansas.

She departed from this life on August 14th, 2026 at Brookdale Rosehill in Shawnee, Kansas.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband Claude Haley, daughter Sue DeVosha, son Jerry Breedlove, her parents, and several brothers and sisters.

Alice is survived by her sons: Norman Breedlove (Gladys), Lonnie Breedlove (Barb); daughters: Dianna Merino (Joe), Cathy Bolander (Don), and Myria Thurman. Also brother Calvin Molt; sisters: Grace Young, Nelda Perry, Dorothy Langston; many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She enjoyed doing things around the house. If it needed to be fixed, she would jump right in and do it. Even at the age of 70, she crawled under her house in the crawl space and moved her telephone line.

Alice enjoyed country music and old-fashioned hymns. She loved yellow roses. And McDonald’s McRib.

She will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends and those who knew her.

Services are being held at Johnson County Funeral Home on Friday the 21st.

Burial will be at Chapel Hill in Kansas City, KS.
