Doris S. King of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021.    Doris was born November 1, 1925 to Millie and Martin Jensen in Kenosha, Wisconsin.  She married Irving King on Feb 16, 1946 and to this union were born three sons: Dennis, Dale and Douglas.   They later moved to Merriam, Kansas in 1954.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Irving; and a son, just two weeks ago, Dale.  She is survived by two sons:  Dennis (Carol) and Douglas; one sister, Lorraine Harris; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 12:00pm - 2:00pm Saturday February 13th followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00pm. Private Burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens.    Even if you are unable to attend, please join us as both the visitation and service will be livestreamed.   Please use "This Event Will Be Live Streamed" tab below.  Memorial Contributions are suggested to Catholic Community Hospice, 9740 W. 87th Street, Overland Park, KS 66212.

Doris had a loving family and many friends that adored her.  She was a most thoughtful and caring person to everyone and everyone cherished her.
