Robert Branning Jr.

Robert Fred Branning Jr. (Bob), 75, of Lenexa, KS, passed away peacefully in his  home on Sunday, September 29, 2019. Born in Galena, KS to Florence Maley and Robert Branning Sr. He lived most of his life in Lenexa, Kansas.
Bob was an army veteran, avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and boating. He found great satisfaction in gardening and automotive repair. He took pride in a job well done, having many talents to fix things himself.  He enjoyed country music and tunes from the 50’s and 60’s.  He was a retired Manufacturers  Representative with Diebold Inc.

Bob was extremely proud of his children Angele and Andre, son-in-law Bill, three grandsons, Billy, Tony, and Jude as well as Devon who he saw as a grandson.  He was a man
devoted to family “Nothing thicker than blood” was his motto. He is also survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lygie Branning.

A visitation will be held from 1-2 PM, service 2 PM, with reception following, on Saturday, October 5, at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210.
