William (Bill) Fay

William Allan Fay, age 81, of Overland Park, KS., passed away June 15, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, MO.

Bill was born August 22, 1939, in Kenosha, WI, son of Clinton E. and Selma Lenz Fay, and married Barbara Lee Fay, May 6, 1961 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Knoxville, IL.  The couple moved to Overland Park from Buffalo Grove, IL in 1974. In 2019, they moved to Tallgrass Creek Senior Living.

Bill, earned a BA Degree from Knox College in Galesburg, IL.  He was hired into the management training position with Illinois Bell Telephone Co. in Chicago and later in Springfield, IL.  He joined Allstate Insurance Co. in Skokie, IL. and was transferred to Kansas City.  A few years later, he became business manager for Western Missouri Radiology Group, in Independence, MO. and later, practicing manager for Kansas City Urology Care.

He was a member and Elder of Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church, in Overland Park and a member of Radiology Business Managers Association.  Bill was co-founder of the KC Chapter of RBMA.  He was a member of Round Hill Community Center where he enjoyed playing tennis and making lifelong friends.  After retiring, he became an avid golfer.

Bill leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Barbara, his children Patrick and his wife Beth, Tom and his wife Cathy, Michael and his wife Kristin, Linda Bartels, and Lisa Hennessey and her husband Christopher; his 14 grandchildren: Christian, and her husband Logan Hancock, Jessica and her husband Kurt Alldredge, Will, Tom, Jonathan, Madison, Daniel, Ryan, Owen, Ian, Mitchell, Jack, Elizabeth and Joe; great-grandchildren Porter and Wyatt.  He also leaves his brother Robert "Bob" and sister-in-law Carol Fay, his sister Ruthanne and brother-in-law Cliff Blissett.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church, 9300 Nall Ave., Overland Park, KS., on Tuesday, June 22 at 11:00 am.  Visitation will be from 10:00-10:45 am and a short visitation will take place following the service.  Memorial contributions are suggested to go to Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church Legacy Endowment Fund, www.rollinghillskc.org or charity of choice.
