Betty Ink

Betty was born and raised in New Orleans, LA.  She and her family moved to the Kansas City area in 1959.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Avery Jerome Ink, SR, and two sons, Avery Jerome Ink, JR and Patrick Harrison Ink, and a brother, Richard Marceline Wambsgans.

She is survived by daughter Nancy Ink Hinds of Covington, LA, and sons John Cary Ink of Chesapeake, VA, Michael Farrell Ink of Prairie Village, KS, and Kevin Robert Ink of San Francisco, CA.  She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Lindsey Hinds Smith, Jeffery David Hinds, and Jason Christopher Ink, and three great grandchildren, Tyler Lee Smith, Beau Bennett Smith, and Jackson Diaz-Hinds.

She will be greatly missed by the residents and staff of Westchester Village of Lenexa.  A memorial will be held at Westchester Village, 8505 Pflumm, Lenexa, KS on Friday, November 29, at 10:30am.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, Disabled American Veterans, or your local SPCA.
