Johnson County Funeral Chapel & Memorial Gardens - Ready To Serve During COVID-19 Virus

In 2019 Johnson County Funeral Chapel & Memorial Gardens partnered with OneRoom to give families assurance that no one will miss the funeral service, no matter the circumstances. OneRoom lets family and friends connect online to be part of the funeral service from the safety of their own homes.
The technology is incredibly simple and effective. The family receives a private email invitation that can be forwarded to any absent guests. With a single click they join those that are gathered in the chapel. There are even different camera views they can self-select for a personalized experience of the occasion.
The service can be watched live or up to three months later. Things are often missed on the day, even by those in attendance, reviewing the recording later can be an important part of the healing process. This is also a valuable piece of family history for generations to come.
During the coming months we will be challenged by the outbreak of COVID-19, coronavirus. When loss occurs it is important that we can still come together to grieve and draw strength from our closest friends and family. Regardless of travel restrictions, illness or isolation you can still be part of the service conducted at Johnson County Funeral Chapel & Memorial Gardens.

Wreaths across america day 2020

Remembrance Wreath Ceremony at Johnson County Funeral Chapel & Memorial Gardens.

To Sponsor a Wreath click here:
or contact: Diane Boyd

In 2019, there were approximately 400 wreaths placed leaving 2,600 without a veterans’ wreath. This year our goal is to place at least 3,000. With your support and generosity, we are hoping to meet this goal and ensure no veteran is forgotten. Each hand made, fresh, live wreath cost $15 to sponsor and is made in the United States with Maine balsam.

On behalf of the volunteers and military families looking to honor all the veterans laid to rest at Johnson County Funeral Chapel & Memorial Gardens, and the Wreaths Across America extended family, We thank you for your consideration of this patriotic cause.
