Harold D. Adams, 84, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away March 6, 2019 at his home after a battle with double pneumonia he was surrounded by his family. He was born February 9, 1935 in Marshall, Missouri the son of Larkin L. and Leona Mae (Ballew) Adams. He lived in Sedalia, Missouri and later moved to Overland Park, Kansas where he worked at the A&P Grocery Store while growing up, then he worked with his dad as a painter. He then went into in the water well drilling business, and later went back into house painting where he later became a part owner of a painting company.
He married Myrtle Mae Brown on July 15, 1955. They had four children Vicki Cole (Aaron) Shawnee, KS, Ron Adams (Cindy) Gladstone, MO, Mike Adams (Debbi) Olathe, KS and Staci Adams, Overland Park, KS.7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 sisters Wanda Brown and Sharon Briscoe and a step brother David Adams.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 38 yeas Myrtle Mae Adams and a great granddaughter Felicia Jones,
Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Johnson County Funeral Home Mausoleum 11200 Metcalf Ave. Overland Park, KS
