Tawanda "Bonnie" Graves

Tawanda "Bonnie" Lanell Graves, 56, Olathe, KS, passed away April 19, 2018.

Tawanda was born to Noble and Lillie Graves in Wichita, KS on December 17, 1961. She graduated from Washington High School in 1979. In 1981, she finished her training in the Air Force. She was a Telecommunications Operator Specialist while she was in the Air Force. In 1984, she began working for Black and Veatch and worked there for approximately 15 years. She was a Denver Broncos fan. She loved Christian movies and music. Bonnie was an avid Christian who cared deeply and prayed for her family and friends. When her father passed away, she took great care of her mother.

Tawanda was preceded in death by her parents, Noble and Lillie Graves.

She is survived by her son, Rasinio S. Graves of Carmichael, CA; her sister, Aleta Keith of Olathe, KS; brother, Novell Graves of Indianapolis, IN; along with two nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held from 3-4 PM, service 4 PM, on Sunday, April 22, at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens Indoor Mausoleum.
