Alberta Rager, retired special education school teacher, owner/operator of Bacchus & Barleycorn, one of the founding members of the Kansas City Bier Meisters, former American Homebrewers Association Board of Advisors, died from lung cancer Friday, October 26th. A life celebration event for Alberta is planned for Thursday, November 1st from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at the Thompson Barn, 11184 Lackman Road, Lenexa, KS 66219.
