Anne Morris passed away on Monday September15, 2025 at her home in Macon. Anne was born on December 17, 1937, in Pawnee, Nebraska, the daughter of Joesph George Drawbridge and Willadean Mae Shellenbuger. She grew up in Norcatur, KS, graduating from High School in 1955. Anne married Willian Ray Eaglin in 1956. Four daughters were born to this union. Later Anne and Bill divorced. Anne graduated from Hayes State college in 1970. Anne married Gordon Morris on May 2, 1970, and relocated to Independence, Mo. Together they raised the four girls. In 1974 Gordon and Anne relocated to Macon Mo. Anne started her career as Director of Senior Services and Children's Division for Macon County. Later she went on to be Director of Social services for Samaritan Hospital and Macon Health Care. Anne enjoyed sewing, reading, crafting and most of all garage sales. Anne is survived by three daughters, Joy Campbell and Vivian Raylene Morris of Macon Mo., Alisa Gilley and husband James of Brunswick, Ga. and her adopted daughters Jolene and Jackie of Ks., Lynn Thomas of Macon Mo., one sister Patsy Cutsinger and husband Gary, two brothers Gary Drawbridge and wife Anita and Billy Wright and wife Pat all of Woodward, Okla., seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Morris, daughter Deanna Teter and two sisters, Peggy Wright and Shelly Brothers.
