Beverly Jean Cook

Beverly Jean Cook was born on September 12, 1932, and lived a fulfilling life doing everything that she loved.  She resided in Kansas most of her life where she always made the best out of every situation with a smile on her face.

Beverly later became Carla as she followed her dreams and became a belly dancer.  She hit the road and performed in all 50 states.  She was always a strong-willed woman and did what she enjoyed.  She was a phenomenal singer and had an unconditional love for animals.  Beverly was such a loving, independent woman.  She owned her own Antique shop off Independence Ave and often set up shop at the Westport flea market selling and trading antique’s.

Later in life she gave birth to her first son Troy Quigg, David Quigg and only daughter Cindy Quigg.  Beverly loved her kids with everything she had.

Carla suffered from Alzheimer’s living a long life still making people smile.  She loved blowing bubbles with bubble gum and sipping orange soda.  Her favorite was getting her hair brushed.  She was such a strong woman and put up a good long fight.  The good Lord has called her to Heaven where she can now be at peace.  She shall get her wings and become an Angel to look after and guide her beloved family below.

She was preceded in death by her mother Margret Drumm, husband John Quigg, second husband Gary Cook and her son Troy Michael Quigg.

She is survived by her son David Quigg (wife Kara Quigg) daughter Cindy Quigg, grandchildren Ashely Quigg, Zachery Warden (wife Brina Warden) David Troy Quigg (wife Jessica Quigg), Alexis Gardner, Brooke Quigg, Emery Gratto, Colton Quigg and great-grandson Giovani Jackson.
