Billie Fitzwater

Billie Bennie Fitzwater, 90, Overland Park, passed away Saturday January 15, 2022. Billie was born in Lucerne, Missouri to Ed and Helen (Gilworth)Fitzwater.  He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.  He graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia.   He married Jean Gurtler in 1961 in Washington, MO.   He worked as a salesman in the lumber industry for over 20 years.  Billie enjoyed playing golf and loved to travel.  A graveside service will be 10 am Thursday at Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kansas.    In lieu of flowers, Jean would welcome notes and cards.
