With broken hearts, yet overwhelming gratitude for the precious gift of his life, we celebrate the life of our beloved Bishop Lee Silmon, who passed away on July 1, 2026, at just six months old.Though his time on Earth was brief, Bishop’s footprint on the hearts of his parents, his big brother and sister, and his extended family is everlasting. In his short six months with us, Bishop brought all who had the privilege of meeting him immeasurable amounts of light, laughter, and pure joy. He possessed a beautiful, infectious smile and the absolute best belly laugh. He spent his days captivated by the world around him, especially loving to listen to music and watching his older sister and brother in pure awe. Through his gentle innocence, Bishop taught everyone around him the truest, most profound meaning of unconditional love. His presence was a gift, and the void left behind is insurmountable. He will be deeply missed, fiercely loved, and never, ever forgotten.Bishop is deeply loved and will be forever missed by his parents Arion & Brittany Silmon; his siblings Atleigh & Brooks; his grandparents Brian Hooks & Carrie Cackler; Anthony Silmon Sr. and David & Kendra Fleckner; his great grandparents Don & Lori Cackler and Patricia Fleckner; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family who cherished him.”
Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30am on Wednesday, July 8th, followed by services at 10:30am, all at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Johnson County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to https://gofund.me/241016086
