Blanche Yeater

Blanche I. Yeater (Bitner), born December 30, 1939, passed away suddenly on December 31, 2021, in Overland Park, KS., surrounded by her family.  She is survived by her five children: Thomas E. Yeater (Patty), Suzanne M. Morris (Bill), Connie J. Oshman Silkman, Michael S. Yeater (Sheryl), Robert W. Yeater (Merrill), eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward T. Yeater, and her parents, Odessa B. and Edward G. Bitner of Mill Hall, PA.  Blanche was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed and will once again be reunited with her one and only love.  Visitation will be held on Friday, January 7, from 11 to 1 p.m. at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS followed by a Graveside Service at 1:30 p.m. at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens, 23215 W. 75th Street, Shawnee, KS.
