Bobbie Jean Blaine

Bobbie Blaine, 64, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on September 8, 2025.

Bobbie was a devoted mother, a compassionate soul, and a quiet force of kindness in the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by her loving children: Grace Nicely, Sammie McNelly, and Luke Blaine, her grandchildren Maddie and Lincoln, her sisters, Betty, Donna, and Brenda, and many wonderful nieces and nephews, who carry forward her spirit of generosity, warmth, and unwavering care for others.

Bobbie was passionate about gardening and had a deep love for animals and nature. Her gentle nature and incredible heart touched everyone she met—she was someone who gave without hesitation and loved without limits.

A memorial service to celebrate her life and legacy will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Operation Breakthrough, in honor of Bobbie’s lifelong support for children in need.
