Connie VanArnam, age 89, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away peacefully on Jan 2, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.

Connie was born on april 10th, 1935 in Overland Park, Kansas. She was the youngest of nine living children born to Ethel and Arthur Langdon. She grew up in Overland Park, went to school at Overland Park Grade School and graduated high school from Shawnee Mission North.

She will be remembered by her love of travelling around the world, taking pictures, reading, watching old westerns and time spent with her large family and friends. She always enjoyed crafting and made scrapbooks for herself and for her family and friends of the many fun memories she made on her travels and time spent with loved ones. She also enjoyed painting and drawing in her later years.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Traci (Randy), her cherished grandaughters, Danielle (Jacob) Schrick , Michelle (Steven) D'Amico and Gabrielle Ulvenes; her precious great grandchildren, Logan, Blake, Evelynn and Olivia. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she shared wonderful memories with as they grew up. She is also survived by her husband, William VanArnam, of Virginia.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ethel Langdon and all of her nine siblings.

Connie did not want a funeral service but was laid to rest at Johnson County memorial Garden along side eight other family members, including her parents.

In lieu of flowers, family asks that if you would like to remember Connie please send donations to Ascend Hospice & Palliative Care. The family wishes to thank Ascend Hospice and all of the caregivers who lovingly made Connie's last weeks comfortable.
