Constance R. Smith

Constance R. Smith, 81, of Belton passed away on April 2^nd,2024. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 12th  from 11-12pm, service to begin at 12pm, at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210. Burial will follow at Johnson County Memorial Gardens at 1 pm.

Connie was born on February 5^th ,1943 in Kansas City. She married Gary Smith on August 23, 1963. They had two girls; Karla and Becky. She was employed by GSA for over 20 years. She loved her dogs, dinner shows, long conversations, and spending time at the lake. 
 
 Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Elbert McBride, step mother Marie McBride; brother’s, Elbert & Donald McBride: her husband of 54 years, Gary Smith; and daughters, Becky Smith-Worely and Karla Smith-Hite.
 
 She is survived by; son-in-law’s, Mark Hite and Greg Worley (Kim); granddaughters, Monika Worley and Rachel Hite-Henderson ; grandson Michael Worley; and five-grandchildren, many Nieces and nephews.
 
 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Croix, 811 Westchester Ave, Harrisonville, Mo. 64701.
