Dana William Odle

Dana Willam Odle, age 78, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away on April 28, 2026.

Dana was born to Fred and Inez Odle May 29, 1947. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1967-1968 during the Vietnam War. He married Barbara Ann White in November of 1968.

He spent many years working as a production manager at Velvet Creme Popcorn Company before retiring. Dana enjoyed the outdoors and found happiness in fishing, hunting and camping. In later years, he loved spending time with his granddaughters and he took great pride in gardening and especially enjoyed growing vegetables.

Dana is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; his two sons, Brian (Megan) Odle and Todd Odle; his granddaughters, Savannah and Madison Odle; his sister Rosie (Larry) Inman; and many sisters and brothers in law, nieces and nephews.

He will be remembered for his hard work, his love of family and the simple joys he found in life. We will always love you.
