Edna P. Rogers, 86, Overland Park, Kansas passed away August 8, 2011. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 1-2 PM with a funeral service immediately following at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, Kansas 66210. Interment will be in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to American Diabetes Association, 10580 Barkley St #400, Overland Park, Kansas 66212.
Edna was born July 13, 1925 to Helen and Frank Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings.
Survivors include his children; Norma McGinnis of Kansas City, Kansas, Richard Chandler of Fritch, TX, and George Chandler of Shawnee, Kansas; 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
