Edward Fuller

Edward Noel Fuller, 78, our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 14, 2014, in Overland Park.

He was born on April 10, 1936 in Murray, Utah to Noel Alvin Fuller and Matilda Lily Tueller.
He married Judith Barbara Thayne on August 18, 1961 in the LDS Salt Lake City Temple; they have been married 53 years. They were blessed with 4 children, Mark (Terry), Matthew (Elaine), Lisa (Reza) Azimi-Tabrizi, and Deborah. He had 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Edward graduated from the University of Utah with a PhD in Chemistry. He then worked for Phillips 66 Petroleum in Bartlesville, OK and Honeywell in Kansas City, MO. He enjoyed playing the piano, reading, serving in his church, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Judy, children, grandchildren and great-grandchild, and three brothers, Roger, Stephen, and Gilbert. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 7100 Hadley Street, Overland Park. Visitation on Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Johnson County Funeral Chapel and Memorial Gardens in Overland Park, 11200 Metcalf Avenue, and Monday from 10:00 - 10:30 am at the LDS chapel. Interment will be at Johnson County Funeral Chapel and Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Humanitarian Fund.
