Eloree Baldwin, our beloved mother, died peacefully, on June 20, 2026 surrounded by her family, just days before celebrating her 101st birthday, and after a lifetime of caring for others with generosity, humor and her Christian faith.
Eloree was born on June 25, 1925 to William Edward and Maggie Maude Boatwright of Gentry County, MO. She was the youngest of six siblings, Evie, Roy, Gerald (Jay), Vivian, and Juanda, all of which were born and raised on a little farm outside of Stanberry, MO.
She met and married the love of her life, Harold H. Baldwin of Darlington, Missouri while he was stationed in Del Rio, TX during World War II. They married on September 13, 1945 in San Antonio, TX and moved to Kansas City at the conclusion of the war to begin their married life together. They were married for 53 years, until his passing in 1998.
Eloree found great joy in her family, her hobbies, service to others and was a strong anchor for her four children, Carol, Connie, Rita and Phil.
She was selfless and kind with a sweet demeanor and great sense of humor. In addition to her children, her greatest joy was in her seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Her Christian faith began at an early age and continued throughout her lifetime. She attended and has remained a member of Nall Avenue Baptist Church since 1953.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold, her parents, all of her siblings, her son-in-law, Marvin Bennett, and numerous extended family members. She is survived by her children, Carol Brigandi (Joe), Connie Bennett, Rita Davis (Bruce), Phil Baldwin (Suzanne); her grandchildren, Aurora Jones (Jason), Cristina Farrell (Kevin), Joe Brigandi, Jr., Nick Brigandi, Nathan Bennett, Sam Baldwin, and Jason Baldwin, her Great-grandchildren, Sophia Brigandi, Logan Jones, Payton Jones, Brien Farrell, Brody Jones, Lucia Brigandi and Molly Farrell, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation in her honor to your favorite charity or to her home church, Nall Avenue Baptist.
