Erna C. Burns passed away at the age of 97 in the comfort of her home on Friday, June 25, 2021, with her niece and family friend at her side.
Erna was a friendly, fun-loving and adventurous spirit who made friends everywhere she went. Born in Germany and living through World War 2 as a young woman, Erna had many great stories to tell about those times which everyone who knew her enjoyed hearing.
She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, JV and friends. Cruises were her special favorite. She also loved to shop and have lunch with her friends.
Erna’s death was preceded by her loving husband JV. She is survived by her niece Sylvia McGrath.
