Evelyn M. Beets

Evelyn "Evie" Beets of Overland Park, KS, passed away September 11, 2021. She was 101. Evelyn was preceded in death by 5 sisters and a brother, as well as her husband of 35 years.

She leaves behind her only son, Duane Beets, originally of Olathe, KS, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and loved ones including friends, neighbors, caretakers and her aged poodle Pierre.

To have met Evelyn, has always been to never forget her. Her impression on others, stranger, family, or friend, remains indelible. She was compassionate, sometimes blunt, frequently ornery, and always looking to laugh. She loved people. She loved life. And she is and will remain loved by those who remember her.
