Howard Griffeth

Howard Y. Griffeth, 96, of Olathe, KS, died August 20, 2018.

Howard was a WWII veteran of the Big Red One (First Infantry) serving as a US Army Captain. He served in all the major European Campaigns and Africa, including D-Day +12hrs and the Battle of Bulge.

Howard was born in Haddonfield, NJ and was the oldest of three children. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister, and his beloved wife, Helene.  He is survived by his sons; Thomas, Stephen and James, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held for the family.
