Isolde Elizabeth Simmons, 85, Prairie Village, Kansas, passed away Thursday, July 26, at home.
Isolde was born October 24, 1921, in Munich, Germany. She traveled the world and it was brighter for her presence. She was a vivacious, outgoing, friendly lady who loved opera, symphony, and art. She enjoyed everyone she met and was treasured by all in return. She will be greatly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by Bruce B. Simmons, her husband of many years. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Wanda Simmons; grandchildren, Brian and wife Suzi, TJ, and Elizabeth Simmons; greatgranddaughter, Katie Simmons. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas City Opera Society.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, July 29, 2007, at 2 p.m., at Claridge Court, 8101 Mission Road, Prairie Village, Kansas.
