James Ronald Ross

James Ronald Ross, 82, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on February 18, 2026. He was born in Marshall, Missouri, to the late Hurshal and Irene Ross.

James lived his faith quietly, finding peace in scripture and hymns. His inner devotion guided him through life’s trials and shaped the steady, gentle spirit that so deeply touched those around him. He will be remembered for his warmth, quiet strength, and enduring sense of humor.

He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including bowling, playing Texas hold’em, and watching football.

He is survived by his daughter, Anne. His pride and joy; his beloved grandchildren, Josh and Emily; and his great-grandchild, Roman. He also leaves behind many other loving family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A small private memorial service will be held in his honor.
