James E. Steen, 70, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away Nov. 18, 2015. Jim, a Kansas City native, was born July 22, 1945. He graduated from Rockhurst High School and then went on to earn a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri Kansas City. Truly having a passion for Psychology, Jim worked in this profession for 40 years. For most of his career he was employed at Wyandot Mental Health and Johnson County Mental Health agencies. Jim is survived by his sisters, Christina (Andy Porazik) Goff; Lori (Jim) Greenlee; brother, Tom (Connie) Steen; numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. A private Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
