EDWARD JAMES DOUGHERTY
Edward James Dougherty, 90, Olathe, Kansas, passed on June 8th, 2010, at Villa St. Francis Nursing Home. Ed "Red" Dougherty first started his career in rodeo with the Clyde Miller Wild West Show. He then spent over 20 years as a bronc rider on the national rodeo circuit before beginning his second career as a salesman for the Simco Leather Company. He is survived by his son Victor. Visitation (Friday June 11th, 4 - 7 p.m.) and Funeral (Saturday, June 12th at 10:00 a.m.) will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 900 S. Honeysuckle, Olathe, Kansas 66061.
