Jane Edna Graber

Jane Edna Graber, 77, of Tulsa, OK, passed away on March 5, 2024. She was born in Santa Monica, California to the late Fred and Ann Foley. Jane attended middle and high school in Lake City, Iowa before studying journalism at Iowa State University. It was there that she met Jim Graber, the love of her life. They spent many years in Oklahoma City where she worked at Tyler Media in marketing before moving to Kansas City where she worked and retired from Entercom Communications in 2010. Post retirement, she first moved to Denver and then to Tulsa.

She remained connected to great friends from college and her career all of her life. She loved to bake, visit family and dress up. She also had a passion for work, event planning and promotions and volunteer activities such as Coats for Kids in Kansas City and Children’s Hospital in Denver. Jane was a kind soul and her compassion extended to all those who knew her, and she will be remembered for her smile, sense of humor and warm personality.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, and is survived by her sister, Susanne Foley of Littleton, CO; son, Chris Graber (Lauren) of Tulsa, OK; son, Shaun Graber (Kim) of Phoenix, AZ; and five grandchildren, Sophia, Alexandra, Ryan, Cole and Stella.

The funeral service is at 11am on Wednesday, March 27, at Johnson County Funeral Chapel & Memorial Gardens in Overland Park, KS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Alzheimer’s Association and Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation.
