John H. Armon Jr, 75, of Shawnee, KS, passed away Tuesday, April 11^th, 2023, at the Atriums Senior Living, Overland Park, KS.  Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 6^thShawnee Mission Memory Gardens, 23215 W. 75^th St., Shawnee, KS.

John Armon Jr, the son of John Sr. and Catherine Armon, was born on July 26^th, 1947, in Kansas City, Missouri.  He grew up and attended school in Shawnee, KS.  Following his schooling, he joined the United States Army, where he was honorably discharged.  He was united in marriage to Pamela Mickelsen, on May 3^rd, 1969.  The couple made their home in Olathe, KS, where they adopted their son, Scotty Armon, in December 1975.  John spent his career with the Kansas Gas Service Company.  Survivors include his son Scotty, Daughter-in-Law, Nicky of Shawnee, KS; sister, Maxine Bilheimer of Olathe, KS, and a brother Allen Armon of Fairway, KS, a niece, and several nephews.
