Jon Stack

Jon Wroth Stack, age 91, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away June 22, 2026.

Jon was born on December 14, 1934 in Kansas City, Kansas to Albert and Virginia Stack. He grew up in Olathe, Kansas and graduated from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas in May 1956.

Jon met the love of his life at Baker and following her graduation in May, 1957, Jon married Marjorie Ann Rogers on June 23, 1957. After two-years of service in the U.S. Army at Fort Lewis, Washington, Jon and Marge moved back to the Kansas City area.

Jon initially enjoyed a successful career in pharmaceutical sales and then developed a general maintenance services company, Maintenance Plus, Inc. He thoroughly enjoyed his customers and the countless friendships he made along the way. He enjoyed the last three years of his life at Pegasus Senior Living with the support of caring staff, family, and several lifelong friends.

Jon was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Marge; parents Albert and Virginia Stack, in-laws Ray and Frieda Rogers, sister Alberta (Robert) Merritt, and sister-in-law Mary Elizabeth Shrader (George).

He is survived by sons Brian (Laura), and Doug (Laura); granddaughters Kirsten (Alex) Long and Becca (Seth) Hermanson; step-grandchildren Lindsay Hardwick, Jason Hardwick, Megan Hardwick, Joel Hardwick, and Kyle Hardwick; great-grandchildren Avery Hardwick, Carson Long, Brooklyn Long, Blakely Long, Collins Long, Anabelle Hermanson, Bowen Hermanson.

There will be a private Inurnment for family, with a Celebration of Life for all to be announced soon.
