Judith “Judy” Irene Rosen, 83, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, at the Kansas City Hospice House in Overland Park, Kansas. Born on September 15, 1942, to Rollie and Irene Burhans, Judy lived a life defined by compassion, creativity, and deep devotion to her family and community.
Judy was a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and spent her career helping others regain independence and dignity through her work. Her kind, feisty spirit and unwavering dedication left a lasting impact on countless lives.
Beyond her professional life, Judy was a woman of many talents and passions. She found joy in sewing, quilting, doll collecting, baking, and arts and crafts, hobbies that reflected her artistic soul and generous heart. Her home was often filled with the scent of fresh-baked treats and the warmth of handmade creations.
Judy is survived by her loving husband, Norman Rosen; her children Doris Vorndran (Tim), Lori Bueno (Hector), and Marc Rosen (Michele); her grandchildren Jillian Zeitz, Jenna Loftus, Julia Vorndran, Jacquelyn Vorndran, Jordan Vorndran, Tabitha Latinette, Tawni Yarbrough, Tatum Gonzales, Keanu Latinette, Rick Latinette, Dominic Latinette, Madelyn Rosen, and Gavin Rosen. She is also survived by her siblings Jerome Burhans (Pat), James Burhans (Jeanette), and William Kraus (Charlene).
She is survived by several great grandchildren.
She fiercely loved all of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rollie and Irene Burhans; her sister, Joanne Black; and her grandson, John Norman Rosen.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to noon at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS. A memorial service will follow at noon, with a graveside service immediately after.

Judy’s legacy of love, kindness, and creativity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Judy was Norman's "Angel" for 65 years. She is with all the angels now.
