Dr. Julian Nunez, MD, 82, of Overland Park, KS, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2013, surrounded by his family.
Dr. Nunez was born on September 20, 1930 in Colon, Cuba. He practiced family medicine for over 30 years in Kansas City, KS.
Dr. Nunez is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Nereyda, his two children, Nereyda Nunez Tucker, MD and her husband, Blaine Tucker, of Leawood, KS, Julian Nunez, MD and his wife Ashley Nunez of Overland Park, KS, three grandchildren, Carmela and Julian Nunez, and Bianca Tucker, a sister-n-law, Gladys Morales and her husband, Roberto Morales, and close family friends, Norma Tucker, Elena and Mario Martinez, and Sara Lulo.
