Kevin E. Wheeler

Kevin E. Wheeler, 62, of Paola, passed away November 24, 2023 at the Olathe Hospice House.  A committal service with military honors will be held at 12:30pm on Friday, December 8^th at Leavenworth National Cemetery.

Kevin was born on August 18, 1961 in Jackson County, Missouri, to Chester and Betty (Oder) Wheeler. He was a Rifle Sharpshooter in the United States Marine Corp, attaining the rank of Lance Corporal E-3 before his honorable discharge in 1983.

Kevin had previously trained as a CNA and an EMT, but in recent years he loved working at the drive-through window at McDonald’s, where many customers will miss his smile.  He is survived by many friends in Paola.
