Leta Beatrice Woods died on January 21, 2008 at Delmar Gardens of Lenexa where she had been a resident since 1997.
She was born December 13, 1913 in Dimmitt, TX at a young age she moved to Merriam, KS where she lived until she entered Delmar Gardens. She worked as a seamstress until retirement.
Leta was preceded in death by her son, Robert W. Ricketts. Survivors include her daughter, Tempie L. Muchnick of Overland Park, KS; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Cremation. Inurnment in Strawn Cemetery, Jacobs Creek, KS.
