Margaret Ellis Grant (Peggy), age 87 passed away Monday, April 30th at The Forum at Overland Park. A private memorial service will be held Saturday, May 12th at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in Margaret?s name to the Vietnam Veterans of America ? Chapter 317, 3027 Walnut, Kansas City, MO 64108 City.
Margaret was born February 24, 1920 in Mound City, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack T. Grant. Survivors include son Jack Jr. and wife, Susan; son Larry and wife Mary; daughter Susan Patton; grandchildren: Steven and wife Sherri; Jason and wife Kerry; Lindsay, Mindy and Laura Schnettgoecke; great-grandchildren Ryan, Reagan, K?Ron, Isaac and Timothy.
