Mrs. Margaret Kearny

Margaret Jo Kearny, age 87, of Olathe, KS, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Aberdeen Village. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by 11:00 a.m. funeral services. Funeral services will be Friday, July 18, 2014 at United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, Wesley Chapel, 13720 Roe Avenue, Leawood, KS, 66224. Burial at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens, Shawnee, KS.
Jo was born March 28, 1927 in Sedalia, Missouri. She graduated from Smith-Cotton
High School in 1945 and Central Methodist University in 1949.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank J. Kearny, step son-in-law Bob Kibble, and stepson Michael Kearny. She is survived by her son, Bruce Williams and daughter-in-law Mary, grandson Andrew and granddaughter Rebecca (Lenexa, Kansas); stepchildren Frank (Kim) Kearny (Neenah, Wisconsin); Mathilde Kearny-Kibble (Australia); Annette (John) Stoerman (Overland Park, Kansas); daughter-in-law Blanche Kearny (Overland Park, Kansas).
Memorial contributions may be made to The International Rett Syndrome Foundation or to the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection building fund.
