Marguerite ?Peggy? Baker 85, Overland Park, passed away on Tuesday January 9, 2007 at her home.
Peggy was born on January 28, 1921 in Kansas City, Kansas. She was active in Unity Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Bartlesville Court, Order of Amaranth, Bethel Shrine, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem all of Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
She is a long time employee of Sun Publications.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James A. Baker Sr. in 1991 and her son James A. Baker Jr. in 1980.
She is survived by her son Stephen and his wife Rosemary Baker of Leawood, grandson James A. Baker III and his wife Denise, their daughter Alicia, granddaughter Tiffany and her husband Damian and their children Ian and Emma, and her sister Gerry and her husband Bill Baker of Palm Desert, California.
Visitation will be 4PM ? 7PM Thursday January 11, at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel 11200 Metcalf Overland Park. There will be a private graveside service on Friday January 12. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church 9300 Nall Ave Overland Park, KS 66207.
