Maria Herrera one of God's special needs angels, was called home May 11, 2022.
Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Maria and Ezequiel Herrera, sisters, Ernestine Palos and Rachel Gorman, and brothers, Manuel, Albert, Robert and Alfred Herrera.
She is survived by her sisters; Beatrice Rodriguez, Rita Linda Khan, and Olivia Hererra, brothers; Louis and Richard Hererra, and over 35 nieces and nephews and a galore of extended family all who she loved.
A Memorial and Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, May 23, 2022 at 11:00 am at Church of the Resurrection-Wesley Chapel followed by a reception. Family private interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Maria to: Villa St. Francis, Patient Recreation Fund, 16600 W. 126th St., Olathe, KS 66062 and /or Church of the Resurrection 13720 Roe Ave, Leawood, Kansas 66224.
