Marion Rose Gagel

Marion Rose Gagel, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, in Leawood, Kansas. Born on February 16, 1953, in Kansas City, Missouri, Marion brought warmth and kindness to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Marion shared a devoted and loving marriage with her husband, William Kurt Gagel. Together, they built a family filled with love and cherished memories. She was the proud mother of Clinton Gagel and his wife Ashley, as well as Heather Gagel. Marion’s legacy continues through her five adored grandchildren: Tyler, Andrew, Jackson, Ainslie, and Emilie. Her family was her greatest joy and source of pride.

She was predeceased by her son Jason Gagel and her parents Edwin and Joyce Rose. Their memories remained close to Marion’s heart throughout her life.

Marion will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and friends. Her warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone she met. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Marion’s Life will be held for family and friends on Friday, June 19th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at The Venue in Leawood, 4800 W 135th Street, Leawood, KS 66224.
