Mrs. Marlene Forbell

Marlene A. Forbell, 77, resident of Kansas City, MO, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. Devoted wife of the late Ronald J. Forbell and beloved daughter of the late John and Elnor (Hercules) Kohl, she is survived by her son Keith J. Forbell, brothers Tom and Jack Kohl, several nieces and nephews, and many other family members. Marlene was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. After leaving the Marines, she worked as a teacher's aide for 23 years assisting special needs children at Trails West State School in Kansas City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Heartland Hospice Care or the American Cancer Society.
