Natividad "Nadine" Conejo

Natividad (Nadine) Conejo was born on December 25, 1926 in Waynoka, Oklahoma. She passed away peacefully in Kansas City, Kansas on November 30, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was raised in Waynoka, Oklahoma before moving to Kansas City. She briefly worked at National Bellas Hess in accounting and temporarily at St. Margaret’s Nursing Home in Kansas City, Kansas. Nadine settled in Kansas City where she met and married Ramon Conejo. They were married for 68 years. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. She was preceded in death by her father Ysaac, mother Ysidra, her husband of 68 years Ramon, son Raul, and several siblings. She is survived by three sons; Arthur (Carmen), Carlos (Patricia-deceased), and Fernando (Pat). Other survivors include 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, two great-great granddaughters, and 2 brothers Vincente Ramirez and Lloyd Ramirez. She was loved by her many nieces and nephews.

Nadine enjoyed cooking for her family, and taking care of them. She was willing to do all she could to help them. In prior years, she was very active in her church. She was Secretary of the Altar Society for 63 years, active in the Young at Heart for many years, and served at the St. Mary’s Food Kitchen and Wilhelmina Center for many years. She also supported the weekly bingo games to raise money for the church.

Services will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2203 Parallel, KCK, on December 17, 2025. Visitation will be at 10am-11am. Mass will begin at 11am with Interment to follow at Johnson County Memorial Gardens. 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, Kansas.

The family of Nadine Conejo wishes to express their sincere thank you to everyone for their thoughts, flowers, prayers and other expressions of love.  They also express gratitude for the wonderful and loving care provided by Traditions Hospice and the Health Care Resort of KC.  Thank you to Margaret Leboo, Nadine's wonderful neighbor  who always checked on her.
