Nedra Elaine Turner, 85, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. She was born on December 5, 1930, in LeMars, Iowa to Mabel Helena Rickleffs Wendt and Roy Wendt. She worked many years as a Legal/Executive Secretary. Her husband, M. Frank Turner, Jr., preceded her in death in 2011. Surviving are her daughters, Diana [Brian] Cage, Deb Harper; son, Dan [Jennifer] Turner; stepson, Mark [Donna] Turner; stepdaughter, Sandra Jean [Gene] Parker; granddaughters, Tarah [Tom] Yates, Laura Cage, Jennifer Turner and Kathy Farrar; great-grandchildren, Taylor Grace Yates, Cooper Yates, Amanda Farrar and Kaitlyn Farrar.
Visitation will from 9-10 A.M., Saturday, April 9th followed by 10:00 A.M., service at Johnson County Funeral Chapel 11200 Metcalf, O.P., KS 66210. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions made to Samaritan's Purse, P O Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607, www.samaritanspurse.org, or a local animal shelter/rescue of your choice.
