Norma Dean Tucker

Norma Dean Tucker, 88, passed away February 5, 2025.  A private inurnment will take place at Johnson County Memorial Gardens, indoor mausoleum.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Wayside Waifs.

Norma was born on May 30, 1936 in Lone Jack, MO, to James and Evelyn (Keller) Simmons. She received her bachelor's degree from Central Missouri State College and her master’s degree from the University of Missouri.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Tucker, and a son, Blaine Allen Tucker. She is survived by two sons, Scott A. Tucker and Joel J. Tucker; a daughter-in-law, Nerita Tucker; grandchildren: Kylie, Lili, Bianca, Sydney, Jia, and Quinn; a brother, James L. Simmons (wife, Jane); and her very good friends: Ray and Nancy Lee, Crystal and Jason Grote, Nena Nunez, Dr. and Mrs. Julian Nunez, L. J. Nunez, Carmella Nunez, Carol Whittet, and Jackie Allen.
