Patty was born on February 4, 1923 in Wood River, IL, to Joseph B and Alice L. Lamm. She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby; her twin sister, Peggy; and her parents. Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, Bob; daughters, Lynda (Steve) Robertson and Nancy Olson; grandchildren Bryan and Jillian Olson, Devon (Marshall) Cheek, and Taylor Robertson; sister, Dorothy (Gene) Bryant; daughter-in-law, Melanie Olson Clegg; numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved cat, Socks.

She met her future husband at Bloomington High School (Illinois) and they married following his service in WWII. She assisted in the war effort by working at a munitions factory as a bullet inspector. After moving to Chicago in the early years of her marriage, she became a lifelong Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. She led a life centered on family and friends. Her grandchildren carry beautiful memories of birthdays and holidays with "Grandma Pat." She loved to travel, read and play cards and was a champion at UNO. She loved Starbucks, Panera and anything chocolate. She was fun-loving and had an infectious laugh that everyone will remember. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. But rather than mourn the absence of the flame, let us celebrate how brightly it glowed!
