Paul Richard Steffenhagen, 78, Overland Park, KS, died Nov. 13, 2008. Born in Hastings, MN, Jan. 25, 1930.
Paul is survived by his wife, Joan, of the home, daughters, Sue (Doug) Archer, Garnett, KS, Lynn (Michael) Scanlon, and Paula Fowler, Olathe, KS, brother Warren, Oconto Falls, WI, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers.
Following graduation from the US Naval Academy, he served as a jet pilot aboard the USS Lexington. His career also included North American Aviation and Trane Air Conditioning.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, Nov. 17 at Bethany Lutheran Church, Overland Park, KS. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Olathe, KS. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Bethany Foundation.
