Pauline Thorpe, 93, of Independence, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at John Knox Village Care Center.
Pauline was born September 20, 1913 in Independence, MO to John and Selma (Limberg) Brune. She was a homemaker and volunteered at the Medical Center of Independence. Pauline also enjoyed being a member of the Abiding Savior Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alden Thorpe in 1982, a son James Thorpe in 1951, two sisters: Lora Brune in 1999 and Elsie Brune in 2000.
Her survivors include a daughter Laurie Sprinkles and husband Steve, and a grandson Shaun Sprinkles, all of Lee's Summit, MO, and a brother John Brune and wife Mary Elizabeth of Independence, MO.
